With a commitment to excellence and innovation, all our products are cooked with our customers in mind, providing healthy and delicious meals for all.The Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, is responsible for leading and managing the continuous improvement process for all operational areas of the plant by utilizing the tools, methodology, and processes of continuous improvement. Develop plans and drive TPM and continuous improvement to include operations, maintenance, warehouse, materials planning and scheduling, and quality assurance.If you choose to work with us, you will be an integral part of a team with a rich and diverse culture that learns, grows, and succeeds together. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and coordinate operational improvement activities to achieve yearly cost saving goals.
  • Troubleshoots major downtime problems and implements corrective actions.
  • Oversee all aspects of continuous improvement for the plant organization.
  • Evaluate the labor requirement through takt time studies for new product development and assist with costing
  • Implements KPI’s and other measurements across the plant.
  • Coaches teams in personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, problem solving, decision making, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions
  • Successful team leadership across diverse groups to drive sustainable improvements to our systems and culture
  • Lead capital equipment projects that increase production capacity and cost savings
  • Trains and educates the plant members on methodologies of TPM and CI to include 5S, OEE, Lean, SPC, RCA, 5whys, Parate charts, Waterfall charts and other CI tools.
  • Promotes, teaches, Supports STPD activity (Problem solving tool)
  • Supports all NWT as Sponsor
  • Manages, operates OEE system (Safety Chain).
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required. At least four years manufacturing experience is a must.
  • Any certification or experience in TPM, Lean, six sigma is preferred
  • Experience upgrading or rolling out ERP system is required
  • Have a strong working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing equipment
  • Demonstrated ability analyzing plant cost and creating cost models
  • Prior experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with knowledge of CI methodologies & tools
  • Must have strong skill of Root Cause Analysis
  • Require mid-level skill of Excel operation (Mainly data base function. PV Table, V-Lookup, Index, If count, etc)
  • Must possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, production, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem solving.
