- Responsible for examination of all new consumer loans booked and funded, ensuring strict adherence to lending procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Performs thorough review of documentation, verifying accuracy and adherence to high-quality business standards.
- Tasked with promptly addressing, monitoring, tracking, and submitting exceptions to Branch Managers and staff while performing regular follow up to ensure all exceptions are cleared.
- Responsible to ensure that liens are perfected on all collateralized consumer loans, to prevent risk or protentional losses to State ECU.
- Responsible for the completion, tracking and processing of weekly, monthly and quarterly lending reports, as well as monthly loan board reports.
- Responsible for ensuring the completion of CIP requirements when required as well as monitoring and tracking of all denied loans. Ensure loans are statuses properly and required Adverse Action Notices are provided to member as mandated by federal regulation.
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of loan account maintenance, including but not limited to rate, term, due date changes, payment frequencies, skip a payment, loan extensions, and loan modifications.
- Understands compliance issues & attends training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act; Reg P; Patriot Act.
- Serves as back up to the Loan Title Specialist, Loan Administrative Assistant, and Indirect Loan Specialist as operationally needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Able to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information in an approachable manner.
- Self-starter, able to independently assess priorities and deliver high quality results.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment, be able to type, and have proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Possess active listening skills, understand the points being made, and present solutions as necessary.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the staff, members and general public.
- Job Related Travel - As required.
- Education or experience equivalent to a High School diploma or G.E.D certificate, in addition to some experience working in an office or administrative environment.
- Experience with account file maintenance is preferred but not required. Financial services experience a plus.
- Works in a safety conscious manner which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to self or others in the workplace.

- Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state and federal regulations.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
