- Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to stormwater and water resources engineering. Examples of project types include urban stormwater management (water quality and flood resiliency) analysis, master planning, and design; FEMA floodplain studies; and water supply reliability planning.
- Grow market and technical presence within the region through working with the AE2S Team to prioritize client pursuits, building client relationships, providing client management, identifying opportunities, and supporting competitive proposal pursuits.
- Manage multi-disciplinary resources to delivery high quality projects that meet or exceed clients' expectations.
- Serve as a technical resource for junior engineers within the Water Resources Practice.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field related to water resources.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Montana or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience in water resources engineering in Montana
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients and successfully leading or participating in watershed mast planning/drainage basin design plans, and floodplain studies and water supply planning.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with clients and project team members.
- Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development; recognizing guidelines for limiting the spread of COVID-19.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project financials.
- Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning water resources projects through the competitive RFP/Q process.
- Demonstrated experience using SWMM software for urban stormwater management analysis and HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Proven track record of successfully completing tasks and projects that are on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
- May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
