Process Operator IIPOSITION SUMMARY: Entry level role that is working in a plant/factory. Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, utilizing documented work processes.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
Contributes to division results and performance.
Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
Operate equipment specific to area such as:
CARBON: Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant.
REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles.Working hours - 6:30 am - 3 pm

Must have at least 1 year experience working in an industrial work setting.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS-FORMAL EDUCATION Required: High School Diploma or GED.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Required: Must complete site specific safety training - completed on first day
Ability to communicate clearly to team members.
Be able to follow and read instructions.
Have basic math skills.
Site specific requirements: CARBON: Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training.Preferred: Some manufacturing/plant experience.
Forklift driving (preference for experience, site is willing to train)
Knowledge of computers.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
May work indoors and outdoors as needed
Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees - will be retrieving material that is outside but labor work is done indoors
May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
Work surfaces may include concrete.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
