- Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving of equipment within yard. Loads and unloads machines. Prepares needed paperwork and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment. Documents any issues found during pre & post-inspections and communicates problems to appropriate personnel.
- Scan equipment and work with the Used Equipment Manager to post pictures to our website.
- Assist the Used Equipment Manager in maintaining the machine inventory on the website. This person is responsible for making sure all photos taken of machines in inventory are uploaded on the web site and that we only have current photos of equipment on line.
- Organizes and inventories yard ensuring working environment is safe for both customers and employees. Assists rental coordinators or sales in locating “lost” equipment in yard.
- Provides rental customers with start/stop and general operating instructions.
- Ensures cleanliness of all equipment and cab areas prior to transport or rental in an efficient and timely manner.
- Performs general yard upkeep and maintenance, including snow removal and weeding.

- Follow all safety related processes and procedures as outlined by company policies, safety handbooks, training, procedures, related communications, and all directives passed down by Direct Manager or Manager of Safety and DOT Compliance
- Utilize all equipment and tools for its intended purpose as per manufacturers design in a safe manner
- Attend and participate in safety meetings and related functions
- Practice good housekeeping practices at all times and report safety issues immediately to Direct Manager
- Be aware of all emergency action plan procedures for your assigned work location and be prepared to act accordingly in the event of an emergency
- Participate in and complete all required safety trainings within the time frame allotted
