In this role, you will be running shifts and assigning work as well as ordering parts and running day-to-day operations. This position is a lead role and will have less than 20% hands-on work.This role would suit a Lead Mechanic who has a strong background in repairing chassis, hydraulics, electrical, and other systems and wants to move from being hands-on to being in an office.The Role:
Lead a team of Mechanics in performing repairs and maintenance
Run day-to-day operations of the mechanic team
Running shifts & Assigning work
Less than 20% hands-on work
Early Shift - 5am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
The Candidate:
Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks.
Leadership skills or previous supervisory experience preferred.
