Generator Service Engineer (P)

- Disposition findings and make repair recommendations for components in the field
- Development of generator repair methods and designs
- Field and operational troubleshooting
- Development and release of product definition documents (bills of materials, graphics, process requirements)
- Support field service and customer in forced outage recovery and root cause investigations
- Evaluation of components for engineering studies
- Development of maintenance schedules and scope
- Drive our change initiatives, ensuring that our team is at the forefront of technological innovation
- Potential travel 5-15%
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of one plus years' experience in the power generation industry, those with more experience will be considered for a higher level
- Experience in the design, analysis, and/or maintenance of turbogenerators preferred
- Self-motivated and able to collaborate efficiently in a team setting
- Provide mentoring and training in your area of expertise
- Ability to directly contact customers, field personnel, back-office personnel, and management
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions and conduct technical presentations to customers or management
- Ability to manage numerous projects and deadlines and work independently with minimal mentorship or direction
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed to support urgent customer requests.
