Most importantly, we continue to invest in a diverse team of inquisitive top talent who fuel each other’s passions and curiosity, take risks, try new things, and believe that every new day brings opportunities for growthJob DescriptionIn a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an IT Supervisor to join our team at our 1,000,000-square-foot distribution campus in Garland, Utah. The IT Supervisor will be the primary on-site support for key distribution center IT applications and technologies. Responsibilities include providing on-site support for our IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing support to level 1 and/or 2 IT support technicians to ensure uninterrupted workflow. In addition, the IT Supervisor will partner with other on-site resources to ensure effective IT service is provided to distribution center users and identify changes and opportunities that support a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires training in Midway, Kentucky, at one of our distribution centers with potential for additional on-site training at our headquarters in Carson, California.A day on the job looks like this:
  • Provide first- and second-level IT support for warehouse and distribution center operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system issues
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment, including computers, scanners, printers and mobile devices used in warehouse operations
  • Work closely with the operations team to understand workflow processes and identify opportunities for improving efficiency through IT solutions
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of IT systems and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company standards and security policies
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions to prevent disruptions
  • Coordinate with vendors and external IT support for issue resolution and equipment procurement
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, systems and configurations specific to the warehouse environment
  • Provide guidance, direction and feedback to direct report(s)
  • Assist in the training of warehouse staff on the use of IT equipment and software, ensuring best practices in IT security and data protection
  • Participate in IT projects aimed at enhancing the technological capabilities of the distribution center and warehouse operations
QualificationsGot the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear technical guidance to non-technical users
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT in a warehouse environment
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail, operates with sense of urgency and has strong problem-solving skills
