- Provide first- and second-level IT support for warehouse and distribution center operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system issues
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment, including computers, scanners, printers and mobile devices used in warehouse operations
- Work closely with the operations team to understand workflow processes and identify opportunities for improving efficiency through IT solutions
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of IT systems and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company standards and security policies
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions to prevent disruptions
- Coordinate with vendors and external IT support for issue resolution and equipment procurement
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, systems and configurations specific to the warehouse environment
- Provide guidance, direction and feedback to direct report(s)
- Assist in the training of warehouse staff on the use of IT equipment and software, ensuring best practices in IT security and data protection
- Participate in IT projects aimed at enhancing the technological capabilities of the distribution center and warehouse operations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear technical guidance to non-technical users
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT in a warehouse environment
- Possesses excellent attention to detail, operates with sense of urgency and has strong problem-solving skills
