- Research upcoming projects and rubble acquisition opportunities using online services, social media, and market intelligence.
- Provide up to date market analysis of competition, locations, and inventories.
- Make sales calls and visit clients to establish new business or add to existing business.
- Prepare and submit bids for crushed concrete sales, ensuring profitability for the company.
- Convey availability of materials based on current inventory and pending orders.
- Maintain backlog of current and upcoming projects.
- Provide weekly sales updates on any current or upcoming projects and rubble opportunities.
- Respond to customer needs, issues and problems and exercise judgment to resolve.
- Establish customer accounts in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payment and perform collection duties.
- Assist other personnel in the company with sales responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to speak clearly in person and via telephone.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive motor vehicle.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time without breaks.
