Education-Assistant DirectorParadise Christian School is looking for a full-time position and must have experience in Early Childhood) and have worked in the office of an Early childhood Center. Be Positive, Full of positive energy, and excited to work with children and families.Duties:
  • Paradise Christian School is currently looking to hire a Person who can multi-task, have high positive energy, supervise staff and maintain the integrity of an Assistant School Director.
  • This position entails A lot of data Entry.
  • Recruitment, supervision of staff, monitoring, and teaching, classroom assistance, social media postings, assisting Executive Director(s) with daily duties.
  • This is a Head Start/ Early Head Start Program and must be able to meet tight deadlines and monitor the health and safety of children and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Must have experience working in Early Childhood with children ages (0-5).
  • Meet DCF Requirements.
  • Must have Director Credential.
  • Knowledgeable with HighScope Curriculum and Creative Curriculum.
  • Knowledgeable with Teachstone CLASS tool.
  • Knowledgeable with Pyramid Model and have certification
  • Must have Teach stone CLASS Observer license or obtain within 30 days
  • Be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Be able to pass a drug test.
  • Have Good communication.
  • Have excellent computer skills, and rapid data entry.
  • Able to relate with staff.
  • Be knowledgeable about Human Resources.
  • Assist with families, children, and staff needs.
  • Be able to recruit and retain staff.
  • Be able to monitor and track information.
  • Be a person who can Multi-task.
  • Must have an AA degree or higher in Early Childhood, Preferably a BA in Early Childhood.
  • Preferably experience with Early Head Start/ Head Start/ VPK program.
  • Have good English grammar and spelling for writing anecdotes and other documents.
  • Be empathetic and sensitive to assisting families and Staff in need.
  • Be able to solicit donations
  • Assist with searching for Grants and grant writing
  • Post daily on Social Media, download and track classroom and event pictures
  • Assist with maintenance of Website and events
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow regulations.
